Little Gem
Little gems are nice, small lettuce heads which are ready to use and they have a slightly sweet flavour. The nice thing about Little Gem is that you can also grill or steam the heads. When Little Gem is steamed, it tastes a bit like asparagus.

How to store
Keep the Little Gem in the vegetable drawer in the fridge. It can stay there for a couple of days.
How to eat
Remove the stem and pluck the leaves before use. The pretty, small leaves do well in a salad. You can also use the leaves as “spoons”. Or halve the crops and grill or steam it for a unique experience!
