Pomegranate
The pomegranate looks like a large, pinkish-red apple with a leathery skin. When you break or cut the pomegranate, you will see the countless red seeds. These seeds taste sweet and slightly sour and have a wonderful crunchy bite. They are therefore often used as a topping for yogurt and salads.

How to store
Store pomegranate in the fridge. Because of the thick leathery skin it’s possible to store them for a long period of time.
How to eat
Cut the pomegranate in half and then beat on the back with a wooden spoon so that the seeds fall out. Or break it into quarters and remove the seeds from the skin with your hands. Make sure that the white membranes do not end up between your seeds, they taste bitter.
