— FRUIT
Buddha hand
Buddha hand (also called Buddha fingers) is a special name for a special looking fruit. A kind of lemon ‘gone wild’. It has a sweet, lemony aroma and no juice or pulp. The mild-tasting white part of the Buddha hand is not bitter, unlike most citrus fruits.

Origin
The Buddha hand is originally from China. We import them from Israel, where they hang in small trees, a special sight!

How to store
Do not keep Buddha hands in the refrigerator, but on the fruit bowl, where they can be kept for 1 to 2 weeks.
How to eat
You use the Buddha hand by grating the peel. You can then add it to sauces, dressings, desserts or pastries. It is a delicious alternative to dishes that you would normally use lemon zest for.
