Kissabel® has an intense red skin and characteristic lenticels (pigmented dots). However, what really makes this apple special is its bright red flesh and great taste with hints of berries. Kissabel® is much more than a nice name; it is a completely new apple with a new story.

Origin
20 years ago, a team of passionate French breeders began crossing wild red-fleshed apples from high-quality varieties, to discover new apples with exceptionally beautiful interiors. After more than 20 years of research, the first Kissabel® orchards in Europe were planted in the spring of 2016.

How to store
Store apples in the refrigerator. They can be stored here for about 2-4 weeks. You can also store them on the fruit bowl. They can be stored here for about 3-7 days.
How to eat
With Kissabel® apples, every dish becomes an explosion of colors! You can eat the apple with skin and all, but you can also peel it, cut it into thin slices and use it in a fresh fruit salad. For warm preparations they can be baked or stewed. Of course they are also suitable for apple pie or other sweet dishes.
