Lamb’s lettuce
Lamb’s lettuce used to grow among the grain, hence the name lamb’s lettuce. For a long time, people thought it was a type of weed, but luckily they eventually discovered that these fine, green leaves are very tasty. The cheerful leaves are light to dark green and the flavour is mild.
Availability lamb’s lettuce
Origin
Lamb’s lettuce originated in Sardinia and Sicily and from there, cultivation has spread over a large part of Europe. Bud Holland baby leaves are grown in the Piana del Sele, an area which is suitable for agriculture and located between the Amalfi and Cilento coasts.

Keep baby leaves in the lettuce drawer of the fridge, it stays in a good condition for 1-2 days.
