Red Chard baby leaves descend from Swiss chard. Swiss Chard is an ancient lettuce variety which was already eaten by the Greeks and Romans. Bud Holland baby leaves are grown in the Piana del Sele, an area which is suitable for agriculture and located between the Amalfi and Cilento coasts.
