Strawberries are juicy and tasty fruits that belong to the rose family. They are known for their bright red color, sweet taste and distinctive texture. They belong to the so-called “false fruits” because the edible parts are actually the seeds on the surface, while the real fruits are on the inside.
Origin
Strawberry cultivation can take place in open fields, but also in greenhouses, making it possible to produce strawberries all year round in certain regions. The exact locations may vary depending on the type of strawberry, cultivation methods and climatic conditions. Our strawberries come from one of the best strawberry growers in Heulva in Spain. As many as 97% of the strawberries grown in Spain in 2023 were picked on plots in the province of Huelva. Our grower has spent 5 years growing the perfect strawberry and with success!
