8 Kumquats

1 tbsp. lemon juice

3 tbsp. ginger syrup


Carbonated mineral water

Kumquat Fizz

Halve the kumquats and place them into a nice drinking glass. Crush the kumquats with a cocktail masher.

Add the lemon juice and the ginger syrup. Add the vodka to taste, add ice cubes and top the glass with carbonated mineral water.

Kumquats are small citrus fruits that can be eaten in whole even the skin! The taste of the skin is sweet, slightly bitter and is delicious in combination with the sour pulp. Cut them into slices for a salad or eat them as a healthy snack.
