How to store

It’s possible to preserve a whole jackfruit for two months at room temperature. Pealed parts are best to preserve in the fridge

How to eat

It is possible to consume Jackfruit ripe and unripe. When the fruit is ripe it’s a perfect product to use for desserts. Unripe it’s a very good substitute for meat. Because of the meaty texture and its neutral flavour. A very tasteful dish that you can make with it is pulled jackfruit.

To prepare jackfruit, you have to halve the fruit and remove heart. Remove the yellow, soft pods and get the seeds oud of it. The innner though, hard seeds you can cook and eat. The soft , yellow pods are the main business, you can make hearty and sweet dishes of it.
